VT Lemon Law Summary

In order to protect consumers from defective lemon cars this state has put in place the following lemon law.

Vermont Lemon Law covers passenger motor vehicles and trucks under 10,000 pounds GVW. Does not include snowmobiles, motorcycles, mopeds, or the living portion of recreational vehicles. The lemon law coverage period is the warranty period. 3 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service.
